Qudos 3 Help
Sharing information: Exporting, Emailing, and Printing Reports
Introduction
Qudos 3 is a great tool for recording, storing and retrieving information. Lets' take a look at the options to share that information with others.
Of course, the simplest and fastest method of sharing information with other people in your organisation is to provide them with direct access to the application over your intranet or the Internet.
In this section of the Help file, we consider how else that information may be shared. The options are based on the use of reports - That is a document containing information from your database - but designed to be more suitable for print or export. To access a report, Click menu item Print. There are one or more report options for most lists and forms. One great attribute to note is that when a list has been filtered, the report will match those filter settings - giving you a dynamic report tool. From the print menu, choose an option and the report will be displayed. The report has a control panel at the top.
Qudos 3 also has a Dashboard for generating specific reports.
The following paragraphs describe how to use these reports to share information.
