How to create an IDP (Individual Development Plan)
The IDP form has some special security features to help maintain data integrity. These may impact on the activities listed below - see the IDP Security Guide for details.
From the Main Screen:
| Step | Action | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Select menu item > Modules > People > People List |
The People List is displayed |
| 2 | Select the relevant employee and menu item > Functions > IDPs |
That person's Employee IDP History form is displayed |
| 3a | Click New button | A new IDP form is displayed |
| 3b | Alternatively, select a previous IDP and click on the Copy IDP button (this will copy the Review Details section of the selected IDP for re-use) | |
| 4 | Edit details as required | |
| 5 | Click Save button | Saves the changes |
| 6 | Click Close button | Closes the record |
