How to make a security user account inactive
The following steps will make a security user account inactive. This process is reversible, and while the account is inactive, it will still be included in the count of your user licences. If the user is not likely to require their account again in the near future, or you wish to free up a licence for creating another security user account, use the process for deleting a security user account instead.
From the Main Screen:

Select menu item > Edit > Security |
Opens Security User Accounts list |
| 2 | Navigate to, and click anywhere in the record for the relevant user to select it | The selected record is highlighted in yellow |
| 3 | Click Edit button | Opens their Security User Details record |
| 4 | Uncheck the 'Active' checkbox | This means they can no longer log in to the application. Should they attempt to log in, they will get the 'Login result: Inactive' |
