Set initial Date Period

This component is available on the Quicklinks menu from anywhere in the application. It allows you to select the date period for which records are displayed during the current session. Records outside of the selected period are not lost, but will not appear in any lists.

To use this form, simply use the calendar tools to enter the desired 'From' and 'To' dates, and click Save button. Records in all lists will be filtered accordingly.

The default settings will be restored when you click on the 'Reset' button or close and restart the application.

If a particular record does not appear on your list, check - and if necessary adjust - the selected date period.

This is just one of the options you have for filtering records displayed by date. It affects all lists during the current session. You may also change the filter settings for various individual lists in the application - that affects the one list only for the current session. Your global default setting for date period displayed is controlled in the menu item:

—> Edit
—> Management Console
—> Display records from this date
and Display records to today + how many months?

The Management Console may only be viewed or edited by a member of the System Managers security group.
