Welcome screen

The Welcome screen performs two functions:

  1. The main message area enables your System Manager to communicate information. That may include contact details, the latest news regarding your management system, and reminders about forthcoming events.
  2. Launching the application from the Start button ensures that the main application runs in a controlled copy of the Internet Explorer browser

All users may view the information contained in the main welcome area - use the vertical scroll bar where necessary. System Managers' may change the information by editing the message.html file in the main application folder. This is a standard web page. It may include graphics and hyperlinks, and may be edited using a text editor or HTML editor. Standard web page design rules apply.
