Getting Started

To access Qudos 3, a user will need to obtain a User ID with a Password and appropriate security permissions assigned by the System Manager.

Starting Qudos 3:

Step	Action	Result
1	Open the browser and select Qudos 3 from the Favorites menu OR (where a shortcut has been created), Double-click on the Qudos 3 icon on the desktop.	The Login Screen is displayed
2	Type the User ID in the relevant field. The User ID is not case sensitive
3	Type the Password in the relevant field. Please note that the password is case sensitive - so check the CAPS LOCK key!
4	Click Login button	The Main Screen is displayed

Closing Qudos 3:

Note: Any new data entries you wish to retain must be saved before Qudos 3 is closed.

Method 1

This is the quickest method. However, there may a delay if you wish to immediately log back in again.

Step	Action	Result
1	From anywhere,, click the browsers' X or Close button (top-right)	You are returned to the Welcome Screen. You are now back to your standard browser window. You may navigate elsewhere or close your browser

Method 2

This is the most correct method that ensures you are logged out by the software.

Step	Action	Result
1	From the Main Screen, click the large 'X' button (bottom-left) OR From anywhere, click on the menu item 'Logout'.	You are returned to the Login Screen
2	Click the browsers' X or Close button (top-right)	You are returned to the Welcome Screen. You are now back to your standard browser window. You may navigate elsewhere or close your browser
