How to edit an action
From the Main Screen:

| 1 | Select Actions | Opens the Actions List |
| 2 | Browse / filter the list, and select the relevant action | |
| 3 | Click Edit button | The selected record is displayed in an Action Form |

A series of tabs are used to select different parts of the form e.g. 'Action required',
'Action taken' etc. Click on tabs, and make entries in the appropriate fields.
When entries in any of the 4 major tabbed sections (1-Event, 2-Action Required, 3-Action Taken, 4-Follow-up) have been completed, they may be locked. For instructions, go to Locking and Unlocking records. If there are any external documents that provide useful information to the record, they may be added as attachments. |

Closes the record.
If the 'Assigned to' person or the text entry in the 'Event / Subject' field has been changed, an email may be automatically generated to the 'Assigned to' person. When the record is fully completed (data entry and lock in each of the 4 major tabbed sections), an email may be automatically generated to the person who initially recorded the Action.
